City Sluggers is an animated series that follows a tight-knit crew of baseball-loving kids from Queens who ride the 7 train to all corners of their borough in search of fun, friendship, and fierce competition. Whether they’re squaring off in sandlot games, taking on rival teams in home run derbies, or diving into the best dumplings Flushing has to offer, the Sluggers always bring heart, hustle, and humor to every adventure.
Inspired by their favorite team, the New York Mets, the City Sluggers dream of one day making it to the big leagues. But for now, it’s all about perfecting their game, repping their borough, and having the time of their lives with the best teammates a kid could ask for.
City Sluggers is a celebration of New York—its energy, its neighborhoods, its food, and the kids who call it home.

Ralphie is the star pitcher of the City Sluggers from Queens, with a delivery that packs power and precision, inspired by his hero, Tom Seaver. Known for his blazing fastballs and cool-headed approach, Ralphie leads his team both on and off the field. While he's not the best power hitter, Ralphie is an excellent contact hitter, always able to put the ball in play when needed. When he’s not striking out batters, he’s exploring Flushing for the best dumplings in Queens, proudly calling himself a dumpling aficionado.
-
Gabby is the spark plug of the City Sluggers in the infield. With a fiery personality and a quick wit, she loves to throw off opposing batters with her trash talk and out-of-the-box quips. While Gabby isn’t the most analytical player, she has an incredible natural feel for the game—she relies on instincts and a little bit of risk-taking to get the job done. Her aggressive nature at the plate makes her an amazing extra-base hitter, and she has no problem going for the long ball when the opportunity presents itself.

Bo is the comedian of the City Sluggers, always keeping the mood light with his jokes and antics, especially on the field. A Chinese American kid who lives on the same block as Gabby and Ralphie, Bo is a solid fielder with a cannon of an arm—his mistakes are rare, but when they happen, he can always make up for them with a strong throw or a flashy play. As a hitter, Bo might be small in stature, but he packs a serious punch, often surprising pitchers with his power.
